About

A half-Japanese, half-British fine art photographer on the Autistic spectrum, recently graduated from the University of The Arts London and going on to an MA Photography study at the Royal College of Art.

My artistic practice derives from the understanding of photography as a unique perspective on the world, and one that is a wholly separate entity from the human eye’s perspective of the world – despite the fact that the camera is often perceived as a stand-in for the human eye.

As such, I use the camera as a lens to retrospectively look at my past experiences through a different perspective – a perspective I can use to bring others into my world.
